ARI Drones Ltd. is an R&D company established in 2023 at Teknopark Istanbul. Under the INARI brand, we develop NDT measurement drones, freeboard measurement devices, ship tank level sensor systems (GTASS), and static analysis products, primarily for the maritime sector. Under the ARI Drones brand, we specialize in (NDT) measurement and services. The freeboard measurement device is in mass production, and a contract has been signed with the Turkish Shipowners Association. The NDT drone project is nearing completion. The GTASS project is planned to be completed in 1.5 years. Our Ship Load Mate (SLM) software product for ship static analysis is ready.
The ship's loading is determined by markings on its sides. 2. During loading, captains measure the ship's draft (the height remaining in the water) from six points on the ship's side. This allows for accurate calculation of the ship's loading. A 1-cm error can cause up to $100,000 in cargo, fuel, and route losses for high-tonnage vessels. The INARI Freeboard Meter - FiBo accurately measures the ship's board-to-water surface height up to 15 meters, taking into account the average wave tides (maximum and minimum points). This makes measurement easy, quick, cost-effective, and error-free. We currently have a strategic partnership agreement with the Turkish Shipowners Association.
The condition of metal structures on ships, cranes, bridges, storage facilities, and oil platforms is measured using NDT techniques. One such method is sheet metal thickness measurement. MARBEE-1 can easily take measurements at high altitudes and in hard-to-reach locations. The MARBEE-1 can take measurements without liquid using the EMAT probe. It can position itself in environments without GPS. This allows it to operate comfortably in environments such as ship holds. The product photo has been blurred due to the ongoing patent process. The process will be completed by July 22nd.
Our domestically produced large-screen remote control is being developed to meet the large-screen needs of our inspection drones. Its HDMI output allows it to be integrated with FPV goggles. It can decode two 4K videos simultaneously. This allows us to capture both robotic arm video and surround video from the gimbal camera, as in our own sheet metal measurement application. The product is in the prototype phase, and hardware tests have been successful. The mainboard and 3D product design are ongoing.
Our patented product, the Burkan, is a small, round-shaped drone with an air duct. It can accommodate explosives or payloads within its body and its lift ratio is higher than standard quadcopters. It can be deployed to a target with a send-and-forget principle. Multiple units can be deployed within a cave to penetrate the interior through the mesh system. In case of emergency, it can self-detonate, creating a grenade effect by enclosing the explosive and destructive material around its round body, eliminating risks such as booby traps in the surrounding area. When the air duct is coated with special sound-dampening material, the drone's noise level is lower than that of its competitors and thermal cam can be used for low light/night ops.
The domestically produced ship tank level sensor system is a TÜBİTAK-supported R&D project. Our measurement probes are integrated into each tank, transmitting tank water levels to the hubs via a 4-20mA protocol, and from the hubs to the main terminal. The same system can be integrated with DNA Marin Ltd.'s Ship Load Mate loading and static analysis software, which can perform real-time static analysis of the ship's loading and navigation during the voyage, using the ship's own project data uploaded to the system. This system is offered as a product by a select few companies worldwide and is planned to be completed within one year.
